Resolution Per Eye

Resolution per Eye is the number of pixels that are shown to each eye when wearing the headset.

There are several considerations to bear in mind when measuring the resolution. Firstly, each manufacturing will state this number. HP, for example, state the HP Reverg G2 has a resolution of 2160×2160 pixels per eye.

A resolution of 4320×2160, calculated by adding the left and right lens size together. This then works out as the same as 2160×2160 per lens.

Secondly, the resolution usually affect the visual quality of the images in the headset, however, the technology used can also have a big impact for example OLED or LED technologies.
